The solid-mahogany neck has a fast slim-taper profile, a thicker rosewood fingerboard with 22 super-smooth polished frets for easy bends, and a genuine nylon nut. Originally with Zebra '57 Classic humbuckers with orange drop tone caps ensure sultry PAF-like voicings, while a nickel wired ABR bridge and aluminum stop bar combine for solid sustain. Gibson USA gently rolls the fingerboard binding for a neck that never felt so good, and Grover locking kidney tuners provide an accurate and long-lasting performance. Purchased from a friend of the Attic. This is our founders backup to his other daily player. The pickups and pots where the original Zebra Classic set when we got it. In 2022, we replaced those with Sheptone BK Signature custom wound pickups, 500XL long shaft harness best 10% CTS pots, USA paper in oil tone caps, and set aged Sheptone Nickle covers. We have the certificate of authenticity for the custom pickup set as well. This guitar plays and sounds amazing and is not for sale.
